I am so excited to share with you a project I have been manifesting since late last year.
Way back in December 2024, I had the idea to investigate a confluence of trends I was observing and vibes that I was feeling: between the rise of modern witchcraft in an era of profound disruption; a post-Covid, post-#girlboss malaise about work; and an influx of practices such as tarot, astrology, energy healing and meditation amongst modern leaders looking connect to self as much as to the work they’re putting out in the world.
I prepared this as a talk for SXSW London and with a wish and a spell, submitted my proposal.
Reader, I was ghosted. 👻
But that ghosting turned out to be the gift from the goddess that I needed. Because through speaking with others about this idea, I learned that there were plenty of us out there - everyone from the fully-fledged witch to the witch-curious who is looking to make some adjustments to how work isn’t working.
(As an aside, I had a gorgeous full circle moment last week when I presented that talk at the inaugural UN//SCENE Festival and received such a joyous reception from a packed house. Sometimes the universe just has your back).
But beyond a single presentation, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this connection point between witchcraft, work and wellbeing needed to be delved into in conversation. I didn’t know where to put my musings but I knew they needed to find space to breathe out in the world.
So in March 2025, with Saturn in Pisces in my 9th house of publishing, research and spirituality, and a lunar eclipse in Virgo in my 3rd house of communication, a “wild idea” came forth: what if I released The Coven in the Corner Office as a podcast? (I know, I’m a genius).
And now, six months and two further eclipses later, The Coven in the Corner Office Podcast is ready to drop.
In this four-part series, I’ll be talking to leaders who are weaving the mystical with the practical.
We’ll be talking about:
🔮 How intuition is at the heart of today’s leadership
🔮 How to normalise astrology and tarot in your weekly status meetings
🔮 How to make work work for you
🔮 How to get started on your witchy journey
Today I’m sharing the trailer for the series, which lays out more of the foundation for why I’m so interested in putting the “woo” in work.
Episodes are dropping on Wednesdays throughout October, so if you’re reading this and you haven’t subscribed to this newsletter - what are you waiting for?
You’ll get each episode in your inbox as soon as it’s released, as well as additional musings, rituals and content about how to weave witchcraft and wellbeing into your working life. You can also follow The Coven in the Corner Office in your favourite podcast app.
I hope you’ll join me in the corner office this autumn and share more about your own journey to put the “woo” in work; and if you know someone who belongs in our coven, why not share this with them too?
So light a candle. Take a breath. Grab your familiar.
And join me in The Coven in the Corner Office.
