Introducing The Cauldron
like the office watercooler, but make it *magical*
From talking to listeners of the podcast over the last month, as well as folks who saw my talk at the UN//SCENE Festival back in September, there’s a common theme that keeps coming up again and again:
How can I bring my witchcraft into my work?
Won’t people think I’m nuts? Won’t I lose all of my work friends? Won’t I lose my job?
I get these concerns - hell, I had these concerns, repositioning my newsletter towards witchcraft and work and knowing that I would lose some people along the way.
But I also trust in the community that I’m building, that we’re building, to hold us through the messy middle as we try to work out what it is to put a little “woo” in work.
I don’t have all of the answers. This I know for certain.
So we’re going to try something new over here at The Coven in the Corner Office: a weekly thread for subscribers.
I’m naturally expecting the first few weeks to go something like this:
But I’m hoping with a little persistence, we could turn it into more like this:
Who’s with me? Let’s give it a shot. And if it doesn’t work, I can curse you all into oblivion pivot into something else that feels interesting and helpful. We’re on the journey together, adding things to the cauldron and seeing what comes out.
So here we are. The Cauldron. The watercooler, but make it witchy.
This week’s question:
What are you currently reading, listening to, watching, enjoying that is helping you develop your interest in witchcraft/spirituality/esoterica?
I’d love to see your answers in the comments section down below. Let’s keep it respectful, keep it supportive, and keep it real. If you have no idea where to start, ask for a reco and see what comes back. The universe is amazing like that.
OK witches - see y’all at The Cauldron (in the corner office, natch). 👇

Returning to the volumes of The Library of Esoterica (Astrology, Tarot and Witchcraft), and reading up on Yule to establish new seasonal traditions coinciding with the wheel of the year.
Have just read the three cards that came up in the 3 card spread you had mentioned somewhere else. That’s been all I can muster this week!
